Two Timing Modes, One Device
Mode 1: Gate 1 to Gate 2 Split

The clock starts when Gate 1 is passed and stops when Gate 2 is passed. A clean split time, perfect for flys (10m, 20m, 30m), 40-yard dashes, and more.

Mode 2: Speed Profile

A multi-split breakdown of your full sprint. The timer starts on the release of Button 2 and records button release to Gate 1, Gate 1 to Gate 2, and button release to Gate 2. Acceleration and top-end in one run.

More modes are on the way. Timing logic lives in the companion app, not the hardware, so we can add new modes and features in software. Need something specific for your training? Ask and we can build it.

Does it perform as well as more expensive systems?

For sprint timing, yes. We've verified accuracy to roughly ±5 milliseconds with controlled physics drop tests — the same ballpark as systems costing $500 or more, and far beyond hand timing, which is typically off by 200+ milliseconds. What you're not paying for is a brand name and a subscription.

How is it only $79.99?

We're a student-run nonprofit. We designed the circuit boards, wrote the firmware, and print the enclosures ourselves, so there's no markup chain. The small margin on each sale funds free units for programs that can't afford one.

How does the free unit program work?

Every unit sold funds a donated one. If you coach at an underfunded school or program, apply for a free unit. We read every application.

Who makes this?

High school students in Oak Park, California. EqualSplit is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we build, test, and ship every unit ourselves.

What if it breaks?

Every unit comes with a 90-day warranty. If it fails under normal use, we repair or replace it at no charge.
